No, not political right, but road right.... some Irish politician thinks it's a great idea to change the law and force the Irish to drive on the right side of the road, instead of the current left. The politician, Senate leader Donie Cassidy, wants to do this because of the many foreigners that invade his country; Tourists and foreign workers from many different countries are coming to Ireland, and most of them drive, or ride, on the right of the road, not the left. This apparently causes some confusion and accidents. However, there's resistance to his plan (no shit?). People are afraid that the move will cause many accidents when people switch sides. Our Suggestion So, after a lot of thinking, we at Bikes in the Fast Lane have come up with a fantastic plan, which we'll share for free with the Irish politicians. In order to adapt the road side change in Ireland, we suggest you phase in the change. This way people can get used to it. So initially, only trucks and lorries will drive on the right side, leaving the rest on the left. This way drivers get used to the change. Then you follow it by cars, then by motorcycles. .
