A couple of new road/traffic laws have been recently approved by the Chamber of Deputies, and are now awaiting approval by the Senate. Some of the new rules/laws are quite interesting: - If you cause a death while driving under influence, you'll get slapped with a 15 YEAR prison term, not a slap on the wrist.
- Several more motorways will see their speed-limit raised to 150 kph. Good onya Italy!
- A ban on speed cameras in towns unless traffic Police is present during the photos
Interesting. I think a few more countries should pay attention to what is being done in Italy. We are in Europe after all, and shouldn't things get unified?
