We're starting to see more and more announcements of motorcycle taxi companies starting up all over the world. Now it's in Latvia's capital, Riga  that we see the first such service.
The company, City Scooter  , uses scooters with removable roofs (great idea for when it rains). Anyone want to venture a guess what brand the scooter is?
If you read their web page (using Google Translate), it would seem that the law in Latvia is a bit open-ended whether they can carry passengers. It doesn't say they can't, but it doesn't say they can either.
Let's hope they make it, and that the law become clear.
