The famous and mythical beach motorcycle enduro race, the Le Touquet Enduropale  will be ready to accept registrations on the 1st of October 2007 (discounted until 7 December 2007).
The normally quite coastal resort town of Le Touquet, France  will be limiting the number of motorcycles at the start to 1,000 (last year it was 1,100).

The organizers are also revising the beach circuit. The long straight line after the holeshot will be broken up a bit in order to slow down some of the motorcycles and give more viewing pleasure for those at the far end of the circuit (at Stella beach).

Also, from now on, the holeshot will have a photo camera to determine who won (last year, there was a doubt).

The organizers are still interested in attracting more foreigners to the race, and again are awarding the first foreigner over the finish line with an additional bounty of €1,000.
Remember, that if you're interested in competing, register early, since they have limited spaces available, and the race is very popular.

1 Oct 2007 - Registration opens
7 Dec 2007 - Close of early registration discounted fees
1-2 Feb 2008 - Technical inspection
2 Feb 2008 - 10:00-11:00 - VIP/Stars quad race
2 Feb 2008 - 13:00-16:00 - Quad race
3 Feb 2008 - 13:00-16:00 - Enduropale Race
