The Le Touquet Enduropale

beach motorcycle enduro race is over for another year. Despite freezing cold weather, all 1,000 motorcycles started.

Belgian biker Steve Ramon

won the race on a Suzuki, and not only did he win the race, he also won the holeshot. Cyril Despres

, he had decided at the last minute to participate, despite being physically exhausted after a grueling Dakar race, finished a decent 37th (out of 1,000).

Best female was Dutchwoman Nicky Van Wordragen

on a Yamaha 250, she ended up in 255th position.

Thibault Veuillet

who raced the race on a Zero electric motorcycle finished 995th position. It looks like it's not the time yet for electric motorcycle to win an important and tough race like this one.
