Ouch, this has got to hurt. A law got passed in Ireland, lowering the drink-driving limits. It used to be 80 mg per 100ml, now it's gone down to 50mg/100ml. 50mg/100ml is about one pint of normal strength beer or one small glass of wine. On top of that, learner and professional drivers (and riders) have their limit lowered to 20mg/100ml! 20mg/100ml is what you get when you stand next to someone who is drinking, inhaling the fumes... Getting caught with the new DUIDriving Under Influence. Drinking and driving., you get 3 penalty points on your license and a €200 fine. I'm sure the pubs love this new law....
