Something that most bikers face when riding their motorcycles, at least those bikers that go ATGATT, where to put your riding gear when you've reached your destination. The problem really occurs when riding in warm or hot temperature, and you've got your leather jacket on you. You don't really want to walk around in the blistering sun while wearing a leather jacket? The same applies when you've got gear with you, like your tent, or duffle bag, or other voluminous items. You can always just trust humanity and leave them on your motorcycle.... right? LeatherLock can help you. LeatherLock are two metal hooks that sit on your motorcycle's handlebar. The hooks have a lock so they can't be removed from your bike, and with the optional thick plastic coated metal cord, you can secure almost any object. Once installed on your bike, they take up little space, and even if you don't like having it on your bike while riding, you can always install it when you've arrived at your destination. But the added advantage of the locks is that you can carry stuff on your bike while riding. Or when you've arrived, pull the metal cord through the arm of your jacket, and secure your jacket (and other items like helmets) to you bike. Simple and effective. Now you can bring your bag, tent and other stuff with you, and secure them at your destination. Obviously, anyone who wants to seriously steal your stuff can do it with a big bolt cutter, but for someone who steals stuff on the spur of the moment, will be deterred. Strangely enough, there's no price listed on their website. I see they've tried to raise money on crowd-funding sites, but were not successful. If you're interested, maybe you can contact them via their web site. Click here to access the LeatherLock web site .
