This is starting to look like a bad season for the 9 times former champion Valentino Rossi  .
First he injures himself during a motocross session, costing him the French MotoGP race, and even possibly the Italian one, and now a 42 year old man was arrested by the Italian police after repeatedly threatening to assassinate Rossi. The Italian man made the threats to Rossi's friends, family and media.
When the police searched the man's house, they found enough evidence there to prosecute him.
Rossi, true to his style, remained calm, stating "I thank the State Police and the commissioner of Pesaro. They were very good. There is little else to add, except I am sorry to hear that someone's got so much hate for you without any real reason."
Like Rossi doesn't have enough on his plate....
