GPS tracking  for motorcycles are becoming more and more sophisticated and smaller. With increased computing power, miniaturization and better web applications, the interaction between GPS, motorcycle and the web has become seamless.
Landseaair.com propose a series of products and services that should please any biker, no matter how computer-technology-challenged he/she is. Their GPS Tracking Key is slightly bigger than a standard USB Key; small enough to place anywhere on your motorcycle (or car, or kid, or pet) that no one can see it.
The unit equipped with a powerful magnet can be fitted without tools. The AAA battery will last between 1 and 3 weeks, depending on how much is driven. The Key itself will hold 100 hours of riding time in its internal memory.
You can use the GPS Tracking Key after a nice ride to find out where you went and to publish your route. There are plenty of route sharing web sites out there where you post your preferred itineraries. You can also just print out the results. Here's what a printer report looks like:
But what makes this unit even more interesting is that Landseaair's software interfaces with Google Earth to provide you with a very visual way of seeing where you motorcycle has gone.
Obviously there are other applications for the device, but I'll let you use your own imagination (like lending out your motorcycle and not sure the person rides it responsibly)..... the Tracking Key has been used in several court cases by law enforcement, one to arrest an armed robber and another in a murder case.
