If you're planning to attend the French MotoGP on the 15th of May, or even if you're just planning to go for a motorcycle ride, several autoroutes will be free for motorcycles that weekend. Usually it means that you still need to take a ticket, but at the other end, they'll let you through if you're riding a motorcycle. The toll-free entries are valid for all motorcycles starting at 13:00 (1 PM) on the 15th of May, until Monday 18th of May 13:00. The free autoroutes are: A11 - between St Arnoult and Le Mans, between Angers and Nantes and between Angers and Le Mans (basically between Nantes and Le Mans and Paris and Le Mans) A81 - between La Gravelle and Le Mans A85 - between Angers and Restigne (then onwards on the free A11) A28 - between Saint-Christophe-Sur-le-Nais and Le Mans, A28 - between Alencon and Le Mans WARNING: If you're going, remember that the Police will be out in force with as many speed radars as they can get their hands on, especially on the return trip!
