Most entrance tickets to motorcycle events, like exhibitions, shows and fairs are pretty straightforward. Not much has changed over the years, apart from the bar code that is now featured on the printed ticket.
Before, a motorcycle exhibition organizer would give you a ticket at the entrance. Then they started snail mailing them. Nowadays, you get a file via email which you print and use as ticket.
But these clever Brazilians came up with a much better idea. They snail mailed an adhesive, nonpermanent, tattoo featuring a motorcycle to the invitees.
On the day of the motorcycle exhibition, you placed the tattoo on your body (your choice but better keep it easy access), and at the entrance, using a bar code scanner, the security people scanned your tattoo for the embedded barcode.
Done. Great idea for a gimmick. Smart & creative people those Brazilians.
