Pakistani local officials have banned pillion riding on motorcycles until January the 10th in Karachi  . They clamped down on pillion riding after some riots in the Pakistani capital. The only people exempt from the ban are security staff, women, senior citizens and journalists.
The question of course arises, how do you know that a pillion is a journalist, older than 65 years and a woman to boot? I also guess that Pakistan is the only country where there are no 65 year old, female journalists who throw bombs....
