As usual, for any large motorcycle event, the FFMCFederation Francaise des Motards en Colere - Angry French Biker Association, an association of bikers fighting for the rights of motorcycle riders and the Ministry of Transportation get together and offer rest  stops for the tired motorcycle riders coming to the event. The 2009 French MotoGP is no exception. Already as reported, several of the autoroutes are free during the MotoGP days {link}.

At the biker rest stops, called Relais Motards Calmos, you'll find apart from like-minded bikers, usually stuff like hot & cold drinks, food, and even mechanical assistance.
