Why does a trailer need to be behind a motorcycle? Yes, you use up less road space, but it doesn't need to be... at least not according to Tow-Pac . This company makes and sells a trailer called the SidePack, that is not located behind you, but alongside you, sidecar style. The idea is kind of interesting, since it's different. The idea of putting a storage trailer alongside the motorcycle has its merits. It gives stability to the rider, just what a sidecar would. But it also gives you volume on the road, which is not good (it's a bit difficult to split lanes). Nevertheless, it's a good concept, specially if you frequently need to transport big things, and then uncouple the SidePack when you want to go for a normal motorcycle ride.
