We've probably heard enough about the crisis and the all sorts of stimulus (stimuli?) packages being thrown at us on every TV station you tune into. But the following topic has nothing to do with the crisis, if it weren't that it's a place to get motorcycle gear for dirt cheap. German low cost chain, LIDL , is known in many European countries for selling their wares (food and other stuff) for very low prices. In general, you'll find their stuff for about 20-25% less than at normal outlet shops. LIDL, part from their food, office and house items, also have motorcycle gear. Jet helmets for €36, modular flip-up ones for €60 and integral for €40. Those are prices that anyone can afford. Click here to see what they are offering (in German). In France, they've got a special going on, offering jet helmets for €29.99, modular for €59.99 and integrals for €34.99. You can also find jackets for €89.99, boots for €37.99 and many other discounted items, like chains, intercoms, tank bags, belts, rain gear, etc, etc. Now, according to OliePeil , LIDL have started selling cars in Germany for 25% discount! They are only offering 2 models, and you need to buy them on the net, but for 25% discount, who cares? Click here to see the cars . It's only going to be a matter of time before we'll see heavily discount motorcycles arrive. They're not going to be Ducati's, Aprilia or even BMWs, but probably Yamaha Fazer or even the new Suzuki Gladius. That will make an impact.... Would you buy a motorcycle on the internet, even with 25% discount????
