Riding a motorcycle in the rain is never fun. I don't know many bikers who love riding in the rain, in fact I know none. Apart from things getting wet, one of the worst things is the rain on the helmet visor. Once it rains a lot, you lose a lot of visibility, and rubbing your glove over the visor doesn't work.
A common remedy is the use of special sprays that make the water disappear rapidly, but from experience these sprays are limited, especially when riding long distances.
The Wind Shield Wiper
So what else can you do? The completely-off-the-wall way would be to do like what cars have:- a wind shield wiper. It's crazy, but maybe if you ride a lot in rainy weather, it's an alternative....
The wiper is made in Taiwan by HaiHao . No pricing information is available.
It is remote controlled by a button that you can place on the handlebar.

GetGeared Glove Rain Wiper
This is a more easily available product, and what's more important, it's a lot cheaper than most.
For UK£3.99 you can fit this wiper on the finger of your motorcycle glove.
Although it is a UK based site, they do ship worldwide. I have found it on other sites, so have a look (not even sure it's from the above mentioned site).

From India comes this Velcro equipped wiper that gets placed onto your motorcycle glove.
Simple and effective. When it starts raining, just take it our of your pocket and lace it on your index finger.
Although they don't have (yet) a web site, the item is dirt cheap. From what I have been able to gather, it should cost less than US$ 1.
The site below gives you email and phone number in case you're interested.

Show Chrome Finger Visor Wiper
From Show Chrome comes this slip-on finger wiper, in different colors. They are sold in a pack of three wipers; color red, black and blue.
I found a bunch on Amazon, since Show Chrome doesn't seem to have their own web site, or it's buried really deep in the web.
Price: US$9.95 for three.

eBay Finger Wipers
You can find several different visor wipers on eBay, but most probably come from "strange" manufacturers.
This one looks the best and is apparently from the UK. It is sold for UK£3.24 (US$5.45).
The wiper is a rubber blade, fitted on your finger, and looks to be quite practical on a visor.

British VisorCat is probably the Rolls Royce of visor cleaning kits.
This is not just a wiper, but a complete kit including cleaning fluid, sponge and twin wipers. Everything is strapped to your hand/wrist and you cleans the visor with the fluid and wipe all rain, mud and/or flies off while continue riding your motorcycle.
But like Rolls Royce, it comes at a higher price. UK£30. So this is for the more serious rider, who stands the chance of getting a lot of rain or mud on their visor.

But instead of paying dollars, pounds or rupees, you could also just get a few scrap material and make it yourself. It's not a big task, and to make your life a bit easier, below is a link to a site that shows you how to do it. You also get the satisfaction of doing it yourself, and that is priceless.
DIY, simple, effective and probably the cheapest solution....
