It's not about 1%-er gangs (though they are present in the movie), but it's all about motorcycle riding. We often call ourselves "knights of the road", or "knights on steel horses", well... these are real knights on motorcycles. If you're into movies featuring motorcycles, this movie is for you. There are very few scenes where there aren't any motorcycles. The movie has a good and original plot, and has some funny moments. Ed Harris plays the main role, and is very good (for the ladies, this is your chance to see Ed naked). The stunts are very good, it's not easy hacking away at your opponents while riding a motorcycle, and jousting with a lance, must really hurt. Talk about ATGATT.... On an interesting side note, best-selling author Stephen King, who happened to be around, plays a small role in the movie. Plot: A travelling troupe of jousters and performers are slowly cracking under the pressure of hick cops, financial troubles and their failure to live up to their own ideals. The group's leader, King Billy, is increasingly unable to maintain his warrior's rule while the Black Knight is being tempted away to LA and stardom, as they all have to ask why they were here in the first place. The jousting on motorcycles is for real, and there's a fusion in their minds between fiction and reality. Whoever wins the tournament is the King of the gang. Quotes: "Pick up your helmet. It looks like your head, but has a chin strap" Verdict: Interesting, novel and pretty good movie. A must see for anyone who likes motorcycle movies.
