Score: Plot: 3 Acting: 4 Visual: 3 Sound: 4 Nudity: Some Gore: None | The motorcycle/biker movie The Loveless is a real movie. It's not a B-style movie with little acting and a script that was written in a few hours. Although he wasn't a star then, the main actor is William Dafoe (his 1st real movie with a credit to his name), who does a pretty good job in portraying a bad good guy. The movie is a bit dark, a bit like a Film Noir , with slow cameras work, slow music and the main character speaking to himself in his head, narrating the movie as he goes along. The movie moves along really slow, sometimes painfully slow. The uniform of the day: dirty t-shirt, black leathers, dark sunglasses, cigarette dangling from their mouths (including the waitresses) and greased hair. What more could you want from a movie? The plot if simple, a small bunch (I wouldn't call it a gang) of motorcycle riders are heading towards Daytona to see the motorcycle races, but get stuck in a small hick town to repair one of the bikes. In the mean time, they get into all sorts of trouble, red necks, pretty & sexy females and rivalries inside the group. There's one female in the "gang", named Sportster Debbie played by Tina L'Hotsky (with a stage name of Hotsky, what can you expect?). Nice sound tracks... Quote: "I'm a regular Joe. I've got an itch between my legs, and an afternoon for a heart". It's definitely a nice movie, but as said, it moves along slowly. Have a look at the trailer below.
