	Movie Review: The Mini-Skirt Mob 1 July 2010   File under  Movie Review Product Review   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France Score: Plot: 2 Acting: 3 Visual: 3 Sound: 3 Nudity: None Gore: None Not at all what I expected. It's not your typical biker movie, though there are sufficient motorcycles in the movie to call it a biker movie. But it's a strange "gang", with a female leader, pretty and sexy (for the 60's), guys (rodeo cowboys) who do all the fighting (unless it's girl-on-girl fighting) and obey the girls. All they want to do is ride, drink, dance. This 1968 movie, 82 minutes worth, has several impossible things going on. Sexy clad girls going for a long ride, and getting off their motorcycle looking not only fresh, but not a hair out of place. The cliff-hanger ending is next to impossible in real life. In another scene, two medics bring up the body of one of the biker guys, up some steep cliffs, holding the stretcher with one hand.... Also, where does all the beer in the movie come from? Here they are, in the middle of nowhere, on small motorcycle with no luggage, and more beer than you could humanly drink... Plot: Shayne, the leader of a Honda-riding biker gang known as the Mini-Skirt Mob, has been jilted by her lover, cowboy star Jeff Logan who has married straight-laced Connie. Shayne enlists the rest of her gang to help her break up the newlyweds and get Jeff back - even if that means killing him in the process. Her revenge escalates until her sister Edie is killed by a Molotov cocktail and Shayne finds herself hanging by one hand over a deadly chasm. Should Connie let go before Jeff returns with the police? Quotes: "You need a real woman, not a mouse". Verdict: Strange movie, more a for-TV movie than a real Hollywood movie, specially the 70' style music in the background. It's got motorcycles, pretty girls, drinking and fighting, so in terms of my dictionary, it's a biker movie, but not one you'd be used to. It's not bad since the story is a bit different from your usual biker gang stories, but it's not great either. Watch the trailer below.
