Italians are great at designing things; just look at their cars, their buildings, their fashion and of course their motorcycles. One Italian who takes "normal" motorcycles and makes them into works of art is MrMartini Open MrMartini link in a new window. Mr. Martini, a Triumph dealer, designs custom motorcycles around everyday motorcycles, making them beautiful; works of art.

MrMartini Jerolamo

Take this Triumph pictured above. He's got plenty of those (click here to see the current list of special design motorcycles Open Mrmartini link in a new window). His showroom is like something out of Vogue magazine. You'd be afraid to enter it because you might just dirty the carpet:

So it's no wonder that Mr. Martini set about to do something about our motorcycle gear. When we are finished riding, we need to store our helmets, boots, leathers, gloves, goggles, etc somewhere. Usually a cupboard somewhere, or a coat stand. Or just on the floor. But Mr. Martini came up with this "design" solution;

MrMartini BigSuite

He is calling it the BugSuite Open BugSuite link in a new window, and he is using the old fashion trunk luggage you would find in the old days that people would take ships for travel.

He placed wheel on the side, so that you can move it out of the way, and when needed, open and remove your gear.

The shipping trunks are made out of the best materials possible; wood, leather, copper.

MrMartini BigSuite Charlie
Four version exist; Charlie, Shorty, Matty en Jerolamo. Inside are coat hangers, concealed drawers and a beautiful finish.

In other words, a storage space for your gear that will keep your leathers, helmet, boots and other gear nice and dry, while looking beautiful no matter where you place the truck.

Sorry, I couldn't find a price, but if you got to ask, you probably can't afford it.

You will also need to go to his showroom to buy one.

So if you are interested, take the next airplane to Verona, Italy.
