In The Netherlands  , the Dutch authorities are apparently fed up with having their lucrative speed cameras vandalized. So they went and created one that could be shot, fire bombed or pulled over, but will continue to work.
The new speed radar will cost between US$ 60,000 and US$ 100,000, and consists of a steel enclosure with built-in sensors. The moment the radar is under attack, it'll signal the local Police force.
The radar is equipped with 4 cameras, so it can monitor several lanes at the same time. No escaping now.
So there you go... better behave...
