Present-day motorcycles are all about computers: they control everything happening on your bike. The days that everything went mechanically are well and truly over. Throttle and brakes are "by wire", engine management and fuel throughput are all controlled by those silicon chip.
Computers have become so small in recent years, that even the smaller displacement and cheaper motorcycles are getting them. Here's the latest computer driven motorcycle. Notice the really cool and large format screen, not a little tiny LCD panel that you can't see in the bright sunshine:
