I've left early to attend the Paris Motorcycle and Scooter Exhibition (Le Salon de la Moto  ). Normally held every two years, alternating with the German Intermot, and reckoned to be one of the bigger motorcycle exhibitions in Europe, it has not been held for 4 years.
Manufacturers have shunned the show thanks to the financial crisis, but the expo has a new format, and they promise that they're back.
Press day is tomorrow, but I doubt that there will be new motorcycles. There are a few press conferences scheduled, so we'll see. I'll be heading back on Wednesday, hopefully with some photos to show you.
