Thankfully not by one person, but this is the number of speeding offenses found in 22 European countries. TISPOL , the European Traffic Police organization, held a one week concentrated effort in targeting cars & motorcycles. One week of pointing radar devices at fast moving targets amounted to 600,000 speeders caught. According to TISPOL, it was an effort to try and save 6,000 lives (the amount the authorities think will be saved per year if people stuck to speed limits). Looks like a few more Euros into the government coffers... (600,000 offenders, probably €100 per offense, that's ... WOOOOW .. a lot of money ).
