After what seems a very long time, the Paris motorcycle exhibition is to re-open it's doors end November. Renamed "Le Salon de la Moto " (it used to be called the "Mondial du Moto"), the exhibition alternated with the German Intermot exhibition, in other words, every other year. But two years ago was when the financial and economical crisis was at its worst, so the show was cancelled. So the last one was 4 years ago. The organizers have not only renamed the exhibition, but also revamped their web site to include an interactive map of exhibitors, on-line eTickets and much more. It's not as big as EICMA and not as big (yet) as Intermot, but as exhibitions go, it's pretty big, covering 3 halls. This year so far 350 brands will be present. amongst others Aprilia, Benelli, Bimota, BMW, Ducati, Gilera, Guzzi, Harley, Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta, Norton, Piaggio, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Ural, Vespa and Yamaha. Dates: 30 November to 4 December (Press day is 29 November). The location is Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. It'll cost you €12 for adults and €6 for youngsters.
