A necessary evil, trailers that can carry your motorcycle are often not that easy to load. Usually the portion that carries your motorcycle is high off the ground, so you need to wheel your bike via an iron "plank" onto the trailer before securing the bike to the trailer. Usually you can not ride the bike up (as I discovered), and if you have a big and heavy motorcycle, pushing it up is not easy, and you'll need a hand from someone else.
But several trailer have been made in recent years that make loading your motorcycle qs easy as riding it into the garage (see related articles below for a few examples). Here is a patent from 2012 for such as trailer:
As you can see from the above drawing, the loading platform is almost flat on the ground. That is because the loading platform has been lowered (the colors in the diagram have been done by me .. the blue is the mechanism that lowers and raises the platform).
Here is the same trailer without the motorcycle:
As you can see the platform is almost horizontal with the ground and a few inches above it. When you need to load your motorcycle, you lower it with the winch you see at the front. And when it's on the ground, you just ride your motorcycle onto the platform:
Once secured, winch it up and you are ready to go. Easy.
For people who have been trailering big bikes like Gold Wing, BMW, Harley, etc you know this will be heaven sent.

#Airtrailer #Trailer #Motorcycles - Many see trailers as a necessary evil, a device that you at times need to use, even if you don't want to. We prefer to ride our motorcycles, not stare at it in the mirror of our car. But sometimes you just can't help it, you need to trailer your motorcycle.
The classic trailers work well, they are a proven system, but there are smarter alternatives (see related articles below). here's one interestingly designed trailer for motorcycle. It's called the AirTrailer, and it's from The Netherlands........... .

#HitchHelper #Trailer - Sometimes we just can't help it. We need to trailer our motorcycle. Like when the bike is broken and it needs to go to hospital, or just to go somewhere via car and use your motorcycle later on.
But one category of people who at times trailer their motorcycle, but have some problems doing so, are people who go on holidays with a caravan or even with a boat or horses. If you have a caravan or boat/horse trailer, you already have a trailer, and the only way you can bring your motorcycle is if you've got a truck and load it in the back. Not very elegant, plus you forfeit a lot of storage space.
Hitch Helper is the solution for you. What Hitch Helper is, is a separate mini-trailer that gets placed in between your car and your actual trailer or caravan. It's narrow, so your motorcycle gets loaded sideways, but the trailer is load-bearing that carries the weight by itself, not via your car. So it's better for your car...........

Interesting idea if it weren't for the price tag. Having a trailer can be a blessing, but often you are faced with the dilemma on what to do with a trailer. They take up a lot of space in the garage.
Tow-N-Stow is a trailer, that when not in used you stand up, and use as storage.
