Yes, there's going to be pizza delivery at the 2008 Dakar  rally. It's going to be in the form of twice winner in the 450 category, David Fretigne, and his sponsor "La Boite a Pizza" (meaning The Pizza Box).
La Boite a Pizza is a French franchise pizza shop, working on an expanding international scale. They've got shops in France, USA and China, and with their gourmet pizzas (their pizzas have toppings like duck, foie gras, blood sausage, or fajitas), they're spending €120,000 to sponsor David Fretigne and his Yamaha motorcycle.
It's unknown whether David will actually be carrying pizzas to the hungry contestants....I'm sure they'd appreciate it...
