Let's be honest. Most helmets make us look like Power Rangers at their best, or as an Alien about to invade the planet. Some are straight out of a Sci-Fi movie, and some don't even provide much protection.
It's worse for the female specie of the motorcycle rider community. Most girls I know want to look good, no matter what they have on. A motorcycle helmet does not make you look feminine, it's that simple. In most case your don't even know that it's a female motorcycle rider...
One helmet designer, though these are bicycle helmets, has changed the style of helmets. I guess with a little adaptations, these helmets would work on a motorcycle.

Nice. Now, if Nolan or Dainese or one of the other helmet manufacturers would pay attention here....
