Remember those sneakers that were all the fashion a few years back? Invented by Reebok ,you had a small built-in air pump, that when pressed, would inflate the sneaker's inside, enveloping your feet with an air cushion. A sort of airbag for sneakers... Your feet felt really comfortable in them, and it was like a custom made sneaker. Your feet started swelling up? Just let out some of the air... Well, the folks at Scorpion have produced a similar system for their up-market motorcycle helmets. Very original, it's called the Helmet Pump, and you'll find it in the ScorpionExo 1000 series. In the chin piece is a small rubber "ball" that functions as an air pump, just like in the sneakers. Pressing it blows in air into the sides of the helmet, inflating it and thereby making your head fit 100% properly in the helmet. The "air bag" forms around your head. Obviously you could make many jokes about this (a few come to mind), but in reality, it's not a bad idea. You can't expect helmets to be custom made for your head (unless you're Rossi or Stoner, or one of those other fast chaps). Using "airbags" in your helmet looks like a good way of giving you the closest thing to a custom made helmet. Price: Between US$300 and 330. Click here to watch the video .
