	Ride Exceptional Motorcycles In The South Of France 9 April 2010   File under  France Travel   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Travelling You know those Supercar Clubs, where after you join (and pay an annual fee), you get to drive any of several dream cars. A lot of people do it, allowing them to enjoy riding a supercar, and obviously show off a bit, for an affordable price. Columbus-International (see related article below for more info on them), now offer a similar possibility. For an annual fee, you can join their "Columbus Club", allowing you to ride exceptional motorcycles in the South of France. Their outfit is located in Cannes (the city that hosts the International Film Festival of Cannes), and you have within minutes reach, sandy beaches, twisties in the mountains and of course the casino of Monte Carlo. The membership is a simple process. You pay a "high" fee as membership (depending on the type of membership, between €2,000 and €5,000), and for that you get riding credits, which exceeds your membership, ie the €2,000 fee gets you €2,300 riding credits, etc. Then, you can apply your credits to one of their many Ducati (including the new 1200 Multistrada, Streetfighter or Superbike 848), BMW S1000RR, MV Agusta Brutale 910R, Triumph Rocket III or Hollister. These motorcycles will cost you between €155 and €345 credits. This way you can ride different motorcycles, and not have to worry about insurance, maintenance, etc. Cannes is easy accessible by airplane, so if you've got the winter blues, just take an EasyJet flight and go riding for the weekend.
