Honda Goldwings aren't the only two wheelers that can ride with loads of luggage space. Even a scooter can do it. Just hook up a Maxi Trailer onto your scoot, and go explore the world.
Maxi Trailers  have different models for different scooter manufacturers.
The scooter trailers are about 30-35 kilos (empty), so it shouldn't slow you down too much. They recommend not to put more than 30 kgs of load.
Most of their models are made for Lambretta or Vespa, but they do have a "fit-all" model.
The company is based in Vietnam, but they do export.
They're not exactly cheap, count around US$1200-1250 per trailer, more if you want a chrome luggage rack, spare wheels, etc.
All in all, nice looking, and handy for a scooter adventure trip.
