A bit like the XLOX tie-down system {link}; here's a motorcycle tie-down system to be used for trailers called DeathGrips. The basis of these tie-down, in contrast with normal ones, is that they are using rigid, telescoping, rods. The advantage is that there's no movement when driving, holding the motorcycle securely in place. The DeathGrips are fastened to your handlebars using special clamps. The trailer side is secured by using a pin block installed on the trailer. The advantages are obvious: it's secure, and easy to set up; Once you've placed the blocks on your trailer, you can secure your motorcycle very fast. great when you need to frequently remove or load your motorcycle on the trailer. The disadvantage is that you'll need to "adapt" your trailer. Not a biggie, but it means that you can change trailer without removing the pin block. Prices for the kits are around US$285 and 295, but each component can be purchased separately. Click here for more information .
