Royal Enfield  motorcycles have been untouched in design for centuries. Well, make that decades. Until motorcycle dealer Douglas Motorcycles got his hands on one.
He is planning to commercialize a kit to transform a Royal Enfield Bullet into a street legal, flat tracker racer. To do that, he's put the Enfield on a strict diet, shedding its weight from 400 pounds down to 285.
The kit is still in development, but testing will start next month, with a probable "marketing" mid summer.
So if you're dying to race on a short flat track with your dear Royal Enfield, you'll need to have some patience. No prices are available, as off yet. And who knows, maybe if there's a lot of demand, Enfield will make a second model in their extensive model range.....
