Rwanda Militia Threaten McGregor 9 July 2007   File under  Celebrities   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France A militia gang from Rwanda, the Democratic Liberation Forces of Rwanda (FDLR), have warned actors Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman to stop their motorcycle ride through Africa, or face consequences. The FDLR have been in the past blamed for incredible atrocities, including cannibalism. The militia leader, Felix Mahoro stated ""White men coming through our territory won't escape us". McGregor and Boorman are both riding their BMW R1200GS motorcycle from Scotland to South Africa, and filming their journey for a TV series by the BBC.
