The German makers of motorcycle helmets (one of world's biggest manufacturer of helmets -source  ), Schuberth , and one of the leaders in wireless motorcycle communication systems, Cardo Systems , are teaming up.
Schuberth, with their high-end motorcycle helmets C3 , C2 and Concept will be receiving newly developed technology coming from Cardo (also known for their Cardo Scala-Rider Bluetooth intercom and communication systems).
The new system, no name has been given to it yet, will give Schuberth owners connectivity with mobile phones, bike-to-bike and rider-to-pillion communications, plus stereo music. According to Schuberth executive, Marcel Lejeune, CEO of Schuberth: “Our collaboration with Cardo is meant to equip the world's finest motorcycle helmets with the best available communication and entertainment system. The new system represents the synthesis between our unrelenting pursuit of safety, intuitive ergonomics and cutting-edge technology. This product will meet an important customer demand for a smart and mature all-round solution to complement our premium helmets".
The new combo will hopefully be unveiled during the Eicma motorcycle exhibition in November this year in Italy.
