We know by now that more and more people are looking towards replacing their cages with motorcycles. Obviously the sales reports of the manufacturers will be showing this. But you can see the interest on the internet as well.

ClickZ is a website that gathers statistics on what's going on. They gather for example search terms entered by internet surfers worldwide. They have a specific category for Automotive.

Surprise.... out of the top 10 searches in that category for May 2008, there are four motorcycle searches. That's a real trend change. You used to find searches like Hummer, or SUV. Now you're seeing in the 3rd spot "Honda Motorcycles", 7th is "Harley Davidson", 8th is "Suzuki" and 9th is "Yamaha motorcycles". And they are creeping towards the top....

Shortly, cars will be found only as historical footnotes...  Smoking Joint Smiley
