If you ride your motorcycle often enough, you'll encounter this problem; riding into a low sun. More so during the winter months, it can be quite dangerous, since a low sun blinds you so much that even sunglasses can't help. The only thing you can do is raise your hand in front of the sun, but when riding your motorcycle, that's not an option. A couple of years ago when I was following the famous Dakar race on my motorcycle, I had the same problem every afternoon. Riding in Africa with a low sun and bad roads was anything but fun. Eventually, I placed a strip of duct tape on top of the visor, and that kind-of helped the situation. There has to be a better and permanent solution.... Here's a relatively cheap product that can be applied without effort. The Super-Visor is an attachment to almost any open face and full face helmet that will block the sun for you. It sits on top of your original visor (face shield). Many off-road/enduro helmets have them built in, but if you have a normal helmet, this can be the right solution for you. According to the folks at Super-Visor, their product can also reduce wind noise. Price: US$ 16.95, available in 3 colors. Click here to access their site
