There might be all sorts of rumors circulating that Spain is bankrupt, but if you judge their motorcycles sales, the rumors are wrong.... Last month, April 2010, an increase of 18% over the same month last year was recorded, with 12,541 new motorcycle registered. On the other hand, moped sales are spiralling downwards, with 15.5% less mopeds sold. Despite increases in new registrations, the Spanish motorcycle association, ANESDOR , is urging the government to extend the Moto-E Plan deadline. Moto-E Plan scrappage scheme subsidy by the Spanish government. It would seem that the scrappage scheme is working, allowing people to buy new motorcycles without them costing an arm, leg & kidney.
