© REUTERS/Stringer | Italy already had such a scrapage deal {link}, now it's the turn of Spain. The Spanish government approved a package, called MotoE, that will provide between €75 and €250 for the purchase of new motorcycles. Manufacturers and regional governments are expected to contribute as well, make savings of up to €750 for the bigger motorcycles. The cost of a new, less than 250cc motorcycle, must be below €9,500. The financing scheme will run until June 2010. Motorcycles with less than 250cc, and 5 years or older, can get between €175 and €525. Motorcycles, bigger than 250cc, can get between €250 and €750 reduction, as long as their bike is older than 7 years. Kawasaki have announced a total support package of up to €2,300 including the MotoE subsidies (that's for the scraping of a 7 years old bike, and purchasing a new ZX-6R - Click here for details ). Good... more new motorcycles.
