Spain likes electric cars and motorcycle it would seem. At least, the cash-strapped and deeply in debt government still sees the way to subsidize the purchase of electric vehicles. Although the new subsidy doesn't specifically state motorcycles, but a more generic EV (Electric Vehicle), it's seen as something that will stimulate the electric motorcycle market in Spain. The money you can save is a total of 25% of the purchase of an electric motorcycle, the price without Value-Added Tax but including the batteries, and capped at €6,000. Obviously we'll rarely see a subsidy of €6000, but to get back some €2000 for the purchase of a Zero , Brammo , Quantya or Agility is good news. It'll make it easier to swallow... Now if only other countries in Europe would follow, particularly France...
