Speed Ticket Insurance 27 July 2007   File under  Travel   Author: Mike Werner   Location: Normandy, France There's got to be a catch! In Denmark, Fartklubben (honest, I did not invent the name - apparently it means speed club) is proposing an insurance for speed tickets. For an annual membership due of Kr. 995 (about €133), they will pay your speeding fines to a maximum of Kr. 10,000 (€1340). You can also insure yourself against parking tickets. Too good to be true...??? IMHO, they'd lose money within minutes. Someone explain to me....(I can't read Danish).
