Italian Stilo , famous for their WRC rally helmets and communication gear used by rally drivers (multiple world champion Sebastian Loeb uses it), have released a Bluetooth headset for motorcycle helmets. Called Stilo VerbaVolant, the rather interesting looking Bluetooth module is a clip-on style communicator that allows for music, GPS navigation instructions and mobile phone connections, while also giving you intercom facilities to another Stilo VerbaVolant unit. Using Bluetooth 2.0, it streams full stereo to your helmet, so you can listen to your iPod while getting navigation instructions from your Garmin or TomTom device (or in my case from my iPhone, both music and GPS instructions). According to Stilo, you can talk longer than what most mortals can ride their motorcycle, namely 16 hours of nonstop operations with the current batteries. You can also use the intercom function for bike-to-bike, since you've got an extended range of about 100 meters. Cost: €160 for 1, €275 for 2 Availability: TBA Click here for more info .
