A lot of ink has been dripping, pixels burning, on the debate whether ABSAnti-lock braking system (ABS) is a system on motorcycles which prevents the wheels from locking while braking. The purpose of this is to allow the rider to maintain steering control under heavy braking and, in some situations, to shorten braking distances (by allowing the driver to hit the brake fully without the fear of skidding or loss of control). on a motorcycle is a good thing, or a bad thing. With more and more countries making ABS mandatory, it's become a burning issue.

Until now.... here's photo-proof positive what the difference is between braking with and without ABS.

The photo was published originally by Paddy Tyson from MAG UK! "In this you can see that the non ABS model has stopped short of the ABS model but the non ABS model has a ring-piece full of sand. I'm researching what will happen on tarmac but the dog is less keen and gravel rash to its ass is extensive after five test runs. but it looks like non ABS for stopping in sand is best. these test will be passed on to them in power to show ABS is not all it's cracked up to be."
