It looks like the authorities in The Netherlands, a country known normally for its easy going attitude and tolerance towards all sorts of groups and cultures, is fed up with the biker outlaw gangs, the so called 1%-ers. According to the Minister of Interior, any civil servant that is member of such a gang, even if the civil servant has no criminal record, can be fired.

Several criminal cases are currently ongoing related to 1%-er members who at the same time are civil servants, most of them working for City Hall. The Minister deems that it is bad for the image of the service to have its member be members of biker gangs.

So to prevent further issues, civil servants are not allowed to be member of any of the ten clubs in The Netherlands. All civil servants who are member of one of these 10 clubs must resign their membership or be fired.

This shows you that the politicians known very little on what goes on in the real world. a) not all members of these biker clubs are criminals and b) you don't "resign"...

Next they will be telling civil servants who are from Italian extraction that they will be fired since the Mafia is Italian.... Of course, all political people working for City Hall are above board....
