Is it a sign of economic hardship, when in a small and reasonably wealthy country like The Netherlands, there has been a noticeable increase in motorcycle thefts? The month of November saw an increase of 8.7% overall for PTWsPowered Two Wheel - motorcyles, scooters, mopeds. Scooters and mopeds saw an even bigger increase, namely 13%.
Maybe it had to do with the good weather Europe was having in November, when more people than normal took to their motorcycles.
Who knows, but it's not a good sign.
Some food for thought... do the motorcycles from biker gang, like the Hells Angels ever get stolen?
