It's a pattern you can see everywhere in the world. In The Netherlands as well, motorcycle print magazines are loosing subscribers as fast as banks are loosing our money. During the last year quarter, the main magazines had less and less readers. The Dutch Road Assistance organization, ANWB, have a motorcycle magazine (ProMotor), and they lost heavily. From 34,990 to 30,228 in Q3 2010. Moto73 went from 24,864 to 23,672 during the same period. Motor Magazine went from and estimated 26.584 to 24.723 paying readers. No figures were published for MotoPlus and Kicxstart. Less and less print magazines are being sold, while the internet is growing in its popularity. With on-line motorcycle magazines like Dutch Motorklik are undergoing explosive growths, it looks like the print mags are in trouble. How long before only one or two will survive?
