The Netherlands: No Fear For Police Chases 10 September 2009   File under  News Uniformed   Author: Mike Werner   Location: The Hague, The Netherlands It looks like the cops in The Netherlands have a problem, a serious problem. One of their cars, the Volvo V50 d5, has so many safety issues, that the authorities have told their cops not to go faster than 140 kph, and not to use the car for chasing. According to the Police, the brakes can catch fire when used at high speeds.... That will bring things to a crashing halt when chasing someone on a motorcycle...
