The Russian Way For Securing A Motorcycle From Theft

Sometimes the cleverness of mankind amazes me. A 56 year old Russian biker in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia had his motorcycle stolen twice and he did not want it to happen a third time. The police there had already been alarmed by the rapid increase in motorcycle theft, even low cost motorcycles were being stolen and chopped up for spare parts.

So Boris Farihov did what very few people would do to prevent his precious motorcycle from being stolen. He didn't chain it up to a big tree, he did put a blaring alarm on it, and he didn't place a guard dog next to the bike.

Nope, he simple winched up the motorcycle to below his third floor apartment. Now let's see the thieves get at his bike.... I wonder what his neighbors below him say about this...
