The Daytona 200 motorcycle races have been around for a long time, and when you say that something popular has been around for long, chances are you'll find photographs from the events in the Time-Life photo archives. The Daytona 200 motorcycle races are no exception. Time have published never-seen-before photos from the 1948 event, and as was custom in those days, they are in black & white. The Daytona 200 in those days was not raced on a circuit, but on the beach.
