Here is a very, very, nice crowd-funding project (that is more than fully funded) called Noke. Noke is a solid, well designed (even pretty), sleek padlock that has no key. Press the padlock's shackle, it sends a wireless message to your smartphone that then unlocks the padlock immediately. There's even a smart system in case your smartphone runs out of battery.
